Spend the Evening with the MPWD at National Night Out!

The Mid-Peninsula Water District (MPWD) is proud to participate in the 2025 City of Belmont's National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5 from 5:30 - 8:00 pm, which is held in neighborhoods throughout Belmont. For locations and further details, please visit the City of Belmont's website here.
National Night Out (NNO) is an annual, nationwide event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. This year marks 42 years of partnering neighbors with law enforcement across the nation with 17,000 communities and 38 million neighbors now participating in this unique event.
Join us for a fun and informative evening of BBQ, ice cream, family-friendly activities, and connecting with City staff and community partners. Our hosts – Belmont Police Department, San Mateo Consolidated Fire, Belmont City staff, and the City Council – will be once again joined by the MPWD, Rethink Waste, Recology, San Mateo County Libraries, and others as kids and adults of all ages interact with Police Officers, the Community Emergency Response Team, and Public Works (as schedules permit).
MPWD staff will be on hand at the MPWD booth to engage with neighbors, answer questions about the water district, provide water conservation literature and take-home goodies, and show off MPWD's very own water distribution system model.
