The Mid-Peninsula Water District (MPWD) invites you to pursue a career in its Operations Department as a Lead Operator, or Water System Operator, or Maintenance Technician, with one of the best public water suppliers in California! Operating since 1929, the MPWD team prides ourselves on dedicated service to our customers, cost-effective delivery of water, its commitment to capital reinvestment in the MPWD system, and our ability to adapt to the changing needs of our employees and customers.

In July 2023, all MPWD employees transitioned from a traditional 5-day 40-hour workweek to a 4-day 36-hour workweek, with no reduction in annual compensation or other benefits! This is a truly unique benefit to the MPWD and only one of many aspects that make MPWD a great place to work.
