Mid-Peninsula Water District hosted its first District fieldtrip. Approximately sixty 3rd grade students from Central Elementary School attended the two-hour educational even help on Tuesday, October 20, 2009. MPWD would like to thank all those who participated - teachers, students, siblings, the parents who chaperoned and of course, our wonderful staff for all their hard work and efforts. There weer many highlights throughout the course of the morning. The students really enjoyed seeing the model of our system/service territory and the many stations and demonstrations, such as the "Hand Washing Conservation Station and the "How Wet is our planet Demonstration".
